Saints Nation’s Top 10 Plays of the 2013 Season: #6 Robert Meachem’s Crazy Catch Against Seahawks

Yes the Saints lost in Seattle to end their 2013 season (even though this particular game was in 2014). I'll still take one memory from this game as pretty special, though, and that was this stupid and incredibly lucky catch by Robert Meachem. For a split second that felt like in that moment the Saints were going to find a way, against all odds, to pull off a miracle win. Obviously it didn't work out, but it made the game exciting. It was very reminiscent of the Auburn-Georgia game this past season in college football, and I included that play for comparison's sake below as well. Too bad Meachem wasn't the one that ended up in the end zone. If this turns out to be Meachem's last game as a Saint, he'll leave behind the legacy of coming up with some incredible plays downfield like no other during his time with the team.

The top 10 list:

#6 Robert Meachem's Crazy Catch in Playoffs Against Seahawks.

#7 Drew Brees touchdown pass to Kenny Stills on 3rd and 20 vs. Bills

#8 Marques Colston's 31 yard Catch at Tampa To Set Up Game Winning Field Goal
